We will be proud to present this vibrant and Chardonnay in late 2013, it’s totally in lock step with our goal of producing refreshing, tantalizing Chardonnay in a style similar to Macconnais Saint- Veran or a great Chablis. Sourced from a cool growing region we harvested at the last possible date in September at a ripe 24.6 degrees brix. A long cold fermentation in stainless set the stage for us to capture this wine’s mouth-watering character and structure.
Teasingly coquette-ish aromas of honeysuckle, ripe apricot, peach and pineapple on the nose, with distinct lime and lemon zest notes on the palate. Just the right amount of acid to yield a beautiful mouthfeel with texture and succulence culminating in a round finish where minerals are unearthed.
